Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AHCYP5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AHCYP5 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher AHCYP5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AHCYP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and CHOL show a favorable association.
CESC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where AHCYP5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
