Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AGXT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AGXT data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher AGXT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AGXT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, STAD, and COAD are the cancer types where AGXT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
