Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AGTR2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AGTR2 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher AGTR2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AGTR2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and THCA show a favorable association.
KIRP, HNSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where AGTR2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
