Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AGER Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AGER data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher AGER Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AGER expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where AGER Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
