Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AGAP12P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of AGAP12P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where AGAP12P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types AGAP12P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, PAAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where AGAP12P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
