Across TCGA patient cohorts, AFMID mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,097 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AFMID-associated genes across cancer lineages are VEZF1P1, RPL30P10, and NCAPH2. Each is linked with AFMID in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AFMID-to-partner and partner-to-AFMID results are reported.
