Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AFG3L2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AFG3L2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher AFG3L2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AFG3L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

COAD, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where AFG3L2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
