Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AFG3L1P RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AFG3L1P data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher AFG3L1P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AFG3L1P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, ACC, and PAAD are the cancer types where AFG3L1P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
