Across TCGA patient cohorts, AFAP1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 66 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AFAP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are Cyclin-E2, ERK2, and FoxM1. Each is linked with AFAP1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AFAP1-to-partner and partner-to-AFAP1 results are reported.
