Across TCGA cell cohorts, AEN RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,957 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AEN-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of pentose-phosphate shunt, Nucleolar large rRNA transcription by RNA polymerase I, and Endonucleolytic cleavage to generate mature 5'-end of SSU-rRNA from (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA). Each is linked with AEN in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AEN-to-partner and partner-to-AEN results are reported.
