Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ADH1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ADH1A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher ADH1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ADH1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

PDAC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ADH1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
