Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ADAMTS9-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ADAMTS9-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher ADAMTS9-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ADAMTS9-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and KIRC show a favorable association.

KIRP, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where ADAMTS9-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
