Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ADAMTS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ADAMTS2 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ADAMTS2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ADAMTS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
UVM, MESO, and KIRP are the cancer types where ADAMTS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
