ADAM18

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ADAM18 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ADAM18’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where ADAM18 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ADAM18 is over-expressed in tumor.

KIRC, BRCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where ADAM18 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
