Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ADA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ADA data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher ADA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ADA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA and SKCM are the cancer types where ADA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
