Across TCGA cell cohorts, ACTN3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,177 significant associations in total. SOFT_TISSUE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ACTN3-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of the force of skeletal muscle contraction, Regulation of skeletal muscle contraction by chemo-mechanical energy conversion, and Positive regulation of matrix metallopeptidase secretion. Each is linked with ACTN3 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ACTN3-to-partner and partner-to-ACTN3 results are reported.
