Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACTL6A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ACTL6A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ACTL6A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACTL6A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA and UCEC are the cancer types where ACTL6A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
