Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACSS3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ACSS3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ACSS3 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACSS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where ACSS3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
