Across TCGA patient cohorts, ACSS3 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 50 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ACSS3-associated genes across cancer lineages are cIAP, Ku80, and Bid. Each is linked with ACSS3 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ACSS3-to-partner and partner-to-ACSS3 results are reported.
