Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACOX1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ACOX1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ACOX1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACOX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where ACOX1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
