Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ACO1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ACO1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ACO1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ACO1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
COAD, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ACO1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
