Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABHD17A RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ABHD17A data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ABHD17A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABHD17A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and PAAD show a favorable association.

ACC, UCEC, and PAAD are the cancer types where ABHD17A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
