Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABHD17A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ABHD17A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher ABHD17A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABHD17A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH, THCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where ABHD17A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
