Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABHD16B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ABHD16B data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ABHD16B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABHD16B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ABHD16B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
