Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABHD16A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ABHD16A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ABHD16A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABHD16A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, PRAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where ABHD16A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
