Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABHD12 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ABHD12 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher ABHD12 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ABHD12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and DLBC show a favorable association.

BRCA, LIHC, and KICH are the cancer types where ABHD12 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
