Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABCD1P3 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ABCD1P3’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where ABCD1P3 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ABCD1P3 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where ABCD1P3 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
