Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ABCB10P1 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ABCB10P1’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where ABCB10P1 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ABCB10P1 is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC, LUSC, and HNSC are the cancer types where ABCB10P1 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
