Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AACS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AACS data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher AACS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AACS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, LIHC, and ACC are the cancer types where AACS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
